LIVING Kidney DONOR NEEDED

The thought of life being normal again excites me, that I’d be able to go back to work, provide for my family and do things with my kids.

Hello, my name is Austin, I am 27 years old, and I am hoping to find a living kidney donor. Chronic kidney disease is a problem that I have been dealing with for almost 5 years, since 2019. Unfortunately, over time my kidney disease has continued to progress to the extent that I will need a kidney transplant. The effects and treatments required to combat it have been a constant stress on my mind, body, and soul.

Since then, my entire life has changed forever. The surgeries, the weight loss, the diets, and not being able to hold my baby anymore because of a weight limit have taken an extreme toll on me. I’m currently active on the transplant list and am trying to keep the faith that one day I’ll get a phone call that will give me my life back.

The thought of life being normal again excites me, that I’d be able to go back to work, provide for my family and do things with my kids. There will be things that I’ll never get back, like my time, but I remain hopeful for a living donor.

I am on the waiting list for a kidney, however that can often take years to get a match. I am hoping to find a living donor to improve my quality of life and get back to normal. I would be grateful if you could help me find a match by getting tested or sharing this information with your own network of friends, family and community.
