Hello,
My name is Kelly Boyle, and I am searching for a living kidney donor. For the past 6 years, I have been living with chronic kidney disease. Unfortunately, my condition has continued to progress, and I am now in need of a kidney transplant. Since August 2023, I have been on home hemodialysis five days a week, along with frequent doctor visits, procedures, and hospital stays.
Dialysis keeps me alive, but it has taken a toll on my body and my daily life. I am no longer able to work, and treatments often leave me exhausted. Things I once enjoyed—like camping, traveling, and visiting family—are no longer possible right now. My wife has been by my side through all of this. We met later in life, at 50, and built a life together filled with work, travel, and a deep love for one another. She is not only my partner in life, but also my care partner—helping with my dialysis treatments, appointments, and hospital visits—while continuing to work to support us. We are truly partners in this fight, and we are holding onto hope for many more years together.
A transplant would give me the opportunity to live again—to travel, to spend meaningful time with family, and to visit our daughter in Arizona and our son in Washington. Most of all, it would allow me to move forward with hope and gratitude, and to fully enjoy life with my wife and best friend.
I am currently on the transplant waiting list, but the wait for a deceased donor kidney can take years. That’s why I am reaching out in hopes of finding a living donor. A living donor kidney offers the best chance at a longer, healthier life. If you would consider being tested as a donor, or even just share my story with others, it would mean more than I can express. You could truly help save my life.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support, prayers, and kindness.
Sincerely,
Kelly Boyle
