Matthew Weathers

LIVING Kidney DONOR NEEDED

“Be curious, not judgmental”

Hello my name is Matthew, let’s see things I’m passionate about, my family for one, i also love going to the movies and out to try different food places, which i haven’t been able to do in about 5 years sadly, im also a gamer, a comic book nerd, AEW fan and im into photography(though i wish i put effort into actually doing it)
i was born with one kidney and had a transplant at 9 and another at 20, im currently 42 awaiting another one.

I’m in end stage renal failure, i have had two kidney transplants previously, I’ve been listed as disabled because of many issues from the kidney problems, it effects my everyday life to the point where i can barely do anything including playing with my son, it feels like im just stuck in this failing body that’s getting worse everyday, im just hoping to get a transplant so i can return to some normalcy of life and be able to watch my son grow and be there for him. My life has just been completely derailed because of this, i miss being able to play basketball and going to the movies or play golf, i miss being able to just keep up with people and im tired of feeling like a burden and like im weighing everyone down and just being a disappointment. I have zero to little energy on a good day sadly, i guess the thing i miss the most is feeling like me.

A transplant to me would mean the world too me, it would be like a giant weight lifted of my and my family shoulders, it would be the ultimate second chance and a recharge that i need, it would literally mean that my life was saved and i would be on the road back to being me again.

So yeah I’m begging and pleading for the help to get a donor! Help someone if you can, even if nots myself, your donation could help save someone’s life, and that person like myself would pay that forward!
