My name is Theodore Canada, and I am hoping to find a living kidney donor.
Chronic kidney disease is a problem I have been dealing with for 8 years. Unfortunately, over time my kidney disease has continued to progress to the extent that I need a kidney transplant. The effects of dialysis have been a constant stress for me emotionally and physically. Since February 2018, I've been going to dialysis and have frequent doctor visits that often leaves me feeling tired and makes it difficult to do the things I enjoy like, walking or jogging outside and working for Wayne County cutting lawns.
I look forward to the day that I can get my normal life back. It would be a blessing to be able to see my children become successful with their careers as well as being able to work to help provide for my family. After my transplant, I would like to be able to work again and spend more time with my family going to movies and out to dinner.
It can often take years to get a match from a deceased donor. I am hoping to find a living donor in order to benefit my health and improve my quality of life. A living donor transplant would mean so much to me because I could get back to my old life quickly. I would be grateful if you could help me find a match by getting tested or sharing this information with your own network of friends, family and community. I sincerely thank you, Theodore.
