Living Kidney Donor Needed

Hello, my name is Jasmine. I am a 29-year-old single mom to a bright and loving 4-year- old boy named Kingston who is my entire world. I am also a daughter, and right now my mother is also facing kidney failure so, this journey is something our family is walking through together. I am hoping to find a kidney donor.

I have been living with diabetes since I was 7 years old. In 2020, shortly after giving birth to my son, I found out that I was in kidney failure. By 2021, I had to start emergency dialysis. Since then, life has been a balancing act between treatments, motherhood, and trying to hold onto my health and strength.

Kingston is what keeps me going. He’s my reason for fighting through the hardest days. As a single parent, I want to be able to provide for him, play with him, and watch him grow without being held back by my health. I want to live a healthier, fuller life, one where I’m not just surviving on dialysis, but truly living for my son and myself.

I am on the waiting list for a kidney, however that can often take years to get a match. I am hoping to find a living donor. A kidney transplant would mean hope. It would give me the chance to have more energy, more time, and more moments to be the mother my son deserves. I know that becoming a living donor is a huge decision, and I cannot express enough gratitude to anyone even considering it.
